Colonel James Rhodes is a former officer of the United State Air Force and the best friend of Tony Stark. Rhodes is known as War Machine while fighting in his battle suit created by Stark. He’s (understandably) not quite as comfortable operating in the suit as Stark is, but is equipped with all of the tools and explosives to make a difference in a heated battle.
